On the weekend of December 6-7, Hombu Dojo hosted the semi-annual Brown Belt/Black Belt Workshop.  Saturday, we focused on our basics. We also learned and practiced Kusanku Sho. Testing Results From the Brown/Black Belt Workshop Weekend

On the weekend of May 10-11, the Courtenay Club was once more our hostest with the mostest. Saturday, we worked on the latest changes in officiating, in anticipation of the upcoming Provincials (and beyond). We also learned and practiced Tomari Bassai. Black Belt/Brown Belt Workshop

This past weekend was the 56th Black Belt/Brown Belt workshop headed by Sato Sensei, this time hosted at the Hombu Dojo. As always, this was a time for advanced (not in years, in karate-mileage) members to come together, to refine our basics (via Sanchin and Tensho) and to practice more specific skills.
